"This Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo is excellent for my hair type. My hair came out soft,clean and it felt strong. When using relaxers on your hair, you need something like this shampoo to give your hair protection and strength. Iam very pleased with this product! I'm glad I tried it! My hair feels so soft and clean and my scalp feels refreshed! Thank you Ojon!!"

Ojon Damage Reverse Shampoo and Conditioner made my hair oily

"Despite all other good reviews I have to say that I am not very happy with the products. I have quite thin, long hair and I used Ojon Damaged Hair Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair became unusually oily within a very short period of time. I didn't experience that with any other shampoo or conditioner I've used before, and I have used a lot. I have to wash my hair much more often when using these products and I don't see that it makes damaged hair any better. I am disappointed, because the price of the products suggested a good result. Sorry, but I will not buy the products anymore."

"I ordered the shampoo and conditioner really optimitstic from the amazing reviews I had read online... Unfortunatly it makes my hair extremely oily. I don't even apply any conditioner whatsoever to the roots, yet my hair is like an oil slick by the end of the day! In addition to that I haven't noticed a single ounce of "repair." All in all it was just a waste of money, there are much better products in the drugstore!"

"That's all... just fine. It doesn't make my hair any worse, and I'll use the remainder of the bottle. But unlike Ojon's discontinued "Tawaka" line, which I dearly miss, or the restorative treatment, the Damage Reverse shampoo and conditioner are not anywhere near spectacular enough to to justify costing so much more than several other brands. So unless another great BOGO deal or similar special is offered, it's unlikely I'll be buying either of them again."

"My hair looked and felt like straw. After using this product my hair took on shine, looked healthy and gained body. My hair hasn't looked this good in ages. My hair has a small amount of natural curl and can get frizzy in humidity. For styling I use a pea sized amount of dry recovery hydrating smoothing cream and work it through my wet hair. It brings up my curls and gives my hair shine."

"I have fine, thinning hair that I have been coloring every 3 weeks. It started breaking, falling out and looking really drab. I then got the Damage Reverse Shampoo and Conditioner, and I cannot believe the difference in such a short time. My hair is thicker feeling, shiny and immediately stopped breaking (I also use the Revitalizing Mist that detangles the hair before combing it out). I can also see a lot of new hair growth coming in (finally!) I also found that if I leave the lather of the shampoo in my hair for about 30-60 seconds before washing it out it adds a lot of volume (better than the volumizing thickening shampoo). It also helps my color hold longer, so that I could switch to a demi- permanent color from my permanent color, which has also helped reduce damage. I do find that after a few weeks I need to switch off a day or two with another shampoo (I use the Volume Advance Hydrating Thickening Shampoo/Conditioner--which I do not like as much) because my hair will get a little limp after a while. But after a day or two of the other shampoo. the Damage Reverse is revitalized. It is a wonderful product!"

"I love ojon products. I use the oil for hair treatment. Plus the paste. I use it on my skin also. I love the original scent best but i like the lighter scent also. Original is my favorite thou. I have long hair. Past my waist. My hair loves the shampoo and conditioner and so does my skin. My body and hair responds well to ojon products. Every where i go people ask me about my hair. ALways say it is beautiful. They are always touching it. I always say i use ojon products. I see a big difference in my spit ends that i used to have so much trouble with. I love my hair by using ojon products. I am American Indian. I like that by buying ojon products i am helping Native people in South America and i am helping save the palm nut tress by buying ojon products which are so good for ones hair. Thank you Ojon ...."

"Okay I admit it, I wandered away from Ojon ~ I AM PROUD TO SAY I'M BACK!
My hair is soft and manageable, holds a curl well. The only reason for 4 stars is I would prefer the conditioner to be a little more concentrated, with very long color treated hair I need more. I will continue to use and buy this product. I do add a dime size amount of the conditioner to my hair as a leave-in and this seem to help with keeping tangles and frizz away.."

"This product is very gentle and makes hair very soft and receptive to conditioner. Not stripping and makes my scalp feel better too. I have fine hair that is highlighted and needed a shampoo and conditioner combo to restore the life back to my hair after a hot and humid summer. I spend alot of time out doors in the sun and wind. This shampoo and the matching conditioner restored my hair back to the baby soft state it used to be. My daughter uses it and it has helped restore the shine and manageability back to her hair after alot of swimming pool damage."

"If you're not quite sure about this product -- order it! I have dry, coarse, thick, color treated hair. My hair is now shiny, soft and way more manageable. I don't know how they do it, but Ojon has come up with a winner in this product and the conditioner. I will not use anything else now. In fact, I am traveling next week and I have poured each of these into leak proof containers to take with me. I'm now an Ojon girl!"

"for almost a year i was using a "cleansing conditioner" I was scared of shampoo, blah blah blah. Well after a while my scalp started to itch and I began shedding more so I realized "hmm maybe shampoo isn't so bad" I right away went to Ojon for shampoo. I used them in the past but haven't tried the new reformulated line. Oh how happy I am I switched! My hair is colored blonde, frizzy, wavy/curly and so unmanageable and dull. This shampoo with the matching conditioner just leaves my hair so soft, shiny and manageable. It really does help make my hair look less damaged. I love it! The shampoo leaves my hair feeling nice and clean but not squeaky or straw like as some shampoos could do."

"Last summer I decided to add blond high lights to my fine, dark blonde hair. The result was pretty but also drying to my goldie locks. I spent a great deal of time outdoors and coupled with the little incident where a chunk of hair on the side of my head was burnt, by the end of summer my hair was so damaged, I couln't even comb or brush it without breakage. I tried all kinds of products, but none of them seemed to help much. Then I remembered some products my mom had given to me to try, at least 2 years ago. They had been stuck in the back of my cupboard. Out came the damage reverse restorative shampoo and conditioner. There was enough for about 5 washes. Plus she had given me a partial jar of damage reverse restorative hair treatment. The improvements to my hair were noticed right away, and every time I used these products, it just kept getting better. Needless to say this shampoo and conditioner pair are all I use now. At my last hair appointment the stylist was quite impressed with how healthy my fine color treated hair was!"
