"I purchased this treatment after seeing it recommended by InStyle magazine. I have thick, coarse, curly, medium-length hair that gets frizzy especially in the summer. I was looking for something that was chemical-free, less expensive than a salon treatment, and would relax my hair a bit but still allow some waves. I hadn't done any kind of home treatment like this before so was a little nervous but it was very easy. There were some minor fumes so I kept the window open. My hair didn't get lighter or feel damaged after the treatment which were a few of my concerns. The one thing I wish I had done was wash my hair immediately after 24 hours. The directions said to wait 24 hours but they didn't say anything if you went longer than that. I did get some skin irritation on my scalp I think because I washed my hair a few days later. I figured the final rinse and condition step was enough but not for me. Other than that, this product met my expectations and I will definitely purchase it again."
